The press highlights our vision of the uniform: a balance of creativity and functionality.
JOURNAL DES PALACES
As part of its new Corporate Playground campaign, MARCY PARIS reaffirms its vision of uniforms for hospitality, fine dining, and retail. “In the world of luxury hospitality, where every detail matters and brand image relies on the excellence of service, a uniform is no longer just workwear: it becomes a true ambassador of a company’s values. This is the vision MARCY PARIS has embraced since 2009, transforming the traditional approach to professional uniforms through a revolutionary concept of Corporate Couture.”
The legacy of a singular vision
Founded by Marcy de Soultrait, the brand draws its origins from a universe seemingly far removed from hospitality: motorsport. Yet this initial experience is far from anecdotal: it shaped the company’s DNA. “Motorsport taught me the discipline of detail and performance,” explains the founder. As official outfitter of Renault Formula 1 and Peugeot Sport in rally raid, MARCY PARIS had already mastered the art of creating technical garments designed for excellence: resilient in extreme conditions while reinforcing brand identity on the world stage. The decisive pivot toward professional uniforms came during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Many hotels wanted to refresh their image and contacted us to redesign their uniforms,” recalls Marcy de Soultrait. This natural transition revealed a growing demand for uniforms that go beyond functionality to become carriers of identity and communication.
Corporate Couture: a revolutionary approach
“MARCY PARIS is a fashion-forward ready-to-wear house dedicated to hospitality, dining, and retail,” says the founder. The Corporate Couture approach rests on a unique expertise: designing uniforms with the codes and precision of high-end fashion. “What sets us apart from other players is that we design image pieces: garments inspired by the world of fashion, crafted to embody the identity and story of each brand.” This philosophy translates into meticulous attention to detail. MARCY PARIS embodies a savoir-faire where every element, whether subtle or striking, becomes a marker of refinement. From precise tailoring to the careful selection of finishes, every component contributes to a garment that achieves perfect balance between aesthetics and performance.
Sustainability at the heart of the strategy.
In an industry often criticized for its environmental impact, MARCY PARIS stands out as a pioneer with an ambitious, transparent CSR approach. The company is firmly committed to responsible production, with 83% of its styles manufactured in Europe and 100% of its wellness collection made in France. “This is probably one of the most challenging aspects of the industry,” acknowledges Marcy de Soultrait. “We chose to have 83% of MARCY PARIS references produced in Europe, 30% of them in France, with full traceability on all our fabrics.” This approach comes with ambitious targets: by 2028, 90% of the collection will be eco-responsible. Each year, the company publishes a full CSR report, underscoring its commitment to transparency and continuous progress. MARCY PARIS also builds long-term partnerships, notably with the Paulo de Oliveira mill in Portugal, which invests heavily in renewable energy with nearly 15,000 solar panels and its own wastewater treatment station.
Technical excellence in service of elegance
The permanent collection by MARCY PARIS: 58 styles: embodies this pursuit of excellence. Each piece is designed to deliver a structured, harmonious silhouette tailored to the specific requirements of each industry. In hospitality, the uniform becomes a mark of distinction, instantly reinforcing the image and prestige of an establishment, embodying hospitality and reflecting a promise of attentive service. In fine dining, the designs support the pace of service while reinforcing team cohesion. They express the savoir-faire and standards of the venue, ensuring comfort and freedom of movement. In spas and aesthetic clinics, the uniform conveys trust and well-being, reflecting the expertise of the staff without ever appearing rigid or impersonal.
M102 Studio: innovation for customization
“We adapt our creations by translating each brand’s DNA and story into silhouettes, fabrics, and details, with the same level of rigor they apply to themselves,” explains the founder. This bespoke approach takes shape through M102 Studio, the brand’s creative laboratory. “With M102, our in-house design studio, we aim to push textile innovation and elevate the client experience,” adds Marcy de Soultrait. The studio offers a highly personalized service: bespoke design, logo development, research into innovative materials, and uniforms crafted to embody the identity of each brand with precision.
An ambitious vision for the future
The objective for MARCY PARIS is clear and ambitious: “to continue elevating the uniform into an image piece, blending elegance, functionality, and responsible practices.” This vision translates into a targeted growth strategy focused on the most dynamic sectors: hospitality, fine dining, wellness, and retail.
When the uniform becomes a brand ambassador
MARCY PARIS has transformed professional uniforms from mere functional garments into powerful tools of identity and communication. Through its Corporate Couture approach, the brand addresses the expectations of a constantly evolving luxury hospitality industry, where brand image and client experience are paramount. In a market increasingly mindful of sustainability, MARCY PARIS demonstrates that creative excellence and responsible practices can coexist. By placing people and the environment at the core of its mission, the brand is shaping the future of a more conscious and responsible textile industry: without ever compromising on elegance or quality.
