PROXIMITY
Controlling the impact of our activity during the various stages of production is a priority for us in the pursuit of our ecological and social objectives. For example, 70% of our men's collection is made in Europe from fabrics that are also made in Europe.
For us, proximity is a means of better controlling our impact through better knowledge of the terrain and the standards governing the sector.
In fact, we take particular care to ensure that our garments are produced as close as possible to where they are distributed, in order to reduce the impact of transport, stimulate local development and promote the shortest possible routes.
Even more so, we prefer to produce in Europe for the quality of working conditions that prevail there.

ECO-RESPONSIBLE MATERIAL
For MARCY PARIS, an eco-responsible material is a fabric or knit made with at least 50% of one or more of the following certified fibers: recycled fibers (GRS or RCS certified), organic cotton (GOTS or OCS certified), linen, Tencel®, FSC and Ecovero® viscose, responsible wool (RWS, RMS, RDS, mulesing free) or Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified silk.
European manufacture
Manufacturing designates the making, assembly of the garment. Marcy Paris favors European manufacturing for the quality of the working conditions that are running there and to reduce the impacts of transport. In 2023, 82% of Marcy Paris references were made in Europe.
CUSTOMIZABLE
Customization of the MARCY PARIS collection allows you to add visual elements from your brand identity to tailor the outfits to your world. These can be style details such as piping, colored buttons, stitching or even embroidery or printing of your logo.
PARTLY RECYCLED MATERIAL
Fabric or knit made from one or more recycled fibers. At MARCY PARIS, recycled fiber means:
- A fiber that has already been used to make fabric and is recycled into yarn at the end of the garment's life.
- A fiber that comes from plastic waste (mainly PET bottles) which is ground and melted to recreate a thread.
- A fiber from production waste or surplus fabric generated during production. These fibers are then recovered and recycled to produce new yarns. This is mostly recycled cotton.
MARCY PARIS strives to include more and more partially or totally recycled materials in its collections.
FRENCH PRODUCTION
Production refers to the making and assembly of the garment. MARCY PARIS favors French production for industry expertise in order to guarantee quality working conditions and drastically reduce transport distances. For example, in 2023, a quarter of the women's pieces in our collection will be made in France.
CIRCULARITY
We try to take into account all the social and environmental impacts of the life cycle of our garments, focusing on quality and sustainability for our customers. We aim to scrutinize every stage of a garment's life with the utmost care, from the production of raw materials, through manufacture, weaving and transport, to end-of-life, in order to achieve our ethical objectives.
PARTNERSHIPS
We pay close attention to the choice and durability of our partnerships, working as much as possible with responsible stakeholders who share our social values and respect for nature.
The proof is in the quality and loyalty of our partnerships. The majority of our fabrics are manufactured by the Paulo de Oliveira factory, located in Covilha in central Portugal, which has adopted a highly advanced environmental approach. For instance, it is almost self-sufficient in energy, thanks to nearly 15,000 solar panels in which it has invested, and is certified by five different labels, including Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Responsible Wool Standard and Oeko-Tex. What's more, it limits eutrophication and water pollution by recycling wastewater to its own treatment plant.
